Currently dvdfab player 5 does not support external subtitles?
Currently dvdfab player 5 does not support external subtitles? Such as SRT or ass, we hope to improve support in future releases.
DVDFab Player 5 plays a problem with UHD blu-ray.
This UHD player is very good, very good, this player is the first player I paid for, because I think it's worth it. But, there is a problem, is my display does not support the HDR effect, thus cause in HDR UHD movie, this player HDR into the colour of the SDR is too partial color, is not the kind of SDR normal color, hoping to improve the HDR converted the SDR picture color. Everything else is good, that's not good.
Thank you for your feedback!

UHD Players Still Need Work
After getting my first UHD movie I went looking for a software player that I could use, the best one by a fair margin is DVDfab although it still has problems even if they are primarily restricted to the shuttle control. If you just play the movie from the start and do not adjust anything then the viewing experience would be a 5 star one but if you start changing/using subtitles you get a hiccup, if you shuttle forwards or backwards you suffer an unacceptable time delay (typically 10-40 seconds on an I5/1060 6GB setup) and worst of all the video and audio go out of sync.
In conclusion, it's not yet their time and is best to wait until they work properly.
